Re: A very, very, very long time

Ideally, I'd love to rebuild the game using the latest Flash version, or some more recent gaming platform. And incorporate things like touch screen functionality so you can run it on your tablet or phone. I actually had a look a while ago at making a game similar to ZetaFlow in HTML5. Not sure if i...

I should try doing more of that too. Just feels like I don't have time for anything and then I'm wasting it anyway :P Well, I have to leave my PC for a couple of weeks now so I can't do much anything computer related anyway.

What's up?

So, my fellow Zeta Flow veterans, if you're still around.

What are you currently up to?
Any games you're playing? Busy with life?

Right now I'm waiting for Minecraft 1.9 to be released and watching some Minecraft related videos and StarCraft II matches.

Re: Project: Architype

No link?
The concept has been done but nice job on implementing a full level on it :)

EDIT: Oh, you could color code the starting buttons by difficulty.

Re: Update - Could it be?! An update!?!

Nice level NARF :) though I'd probably prefer the regular straight line movement over setDistance, unless the choppy movement has some kind of artistic value (I guess it does look kinda cool). Other than that, it looks great. The thing with setDistance is that it was already possible with the rotate...

Re: Update - Could it be?! An update!?!

Ohhh, an update! New stuff is always cool. Though I probably won't be making any levels with these since I've already done, and seen others do, all of these through some kind of trickery and advanced techniques :P Well, size change wasn't really _true_ size change but still. Good to see you're still...

Re: Tip: Video Capture

I've had the best results recording anything with Fraps . It can hook directly to most games and applications (and Vista/Win7 DWM) as long as they're hardware accelerated and will record VERY good quality at high FPS. But it's not free. There is however an open source alternative , but I haven't use...

Re: Restart Level

I think the "Play" button in the menu could be completely replaced with "Restart" as it is when you lose. You have to use P to get to the menu so it's no big deal using P to close the menu (or maybe add a small X in the corner for closing it). A confirmation dialog would be a goo...

Re: Is this place still Alive?

Something seems to be keeping them from registering on the forums. Is it a step too big to just do it? Maybe the ZetaFlow account should work both in the game and on the forums. Or does it already? I can't remember.

Re: Things that REALLY get on your nerves

You can always take local backups of your levels (AI and part code). There could be some backup-all-levels button on your Home too to make it easier but maybe it's not that big problem. Offline playing of backups would be nice though :P you could make/play levels even when you don't have internet co...

Feature request thread

I think all short feature requests should be in the same place, so people see what has been suggested and if any ever get implemented the others get attention too. Collected some scattered feature requests here. Also, the one I was about to suggest: I was thinking about what new addition would solve...
