Re: When the core gets connected to a part...

So, I'm not sure HOW you manage to connect the core to itself. Could you elaborate?

The only thing I could think of was putting a 0 into the link field, like so:

which does indeed break things, but I can't see someone doing that by accident.

Aha, that's not right. I believe your browser has cached the old css file and hasn't loaded the new one. I tried something that should force all users' browsers to reload. So, try going to the page again.

Re: Flash End-of-Life; a sad time for Zeta Flow and flash games

I have some good news! I have found a decent short-term solution: basically I run an older copy of Flash Player in an older copy of Chrome. I wrote up all the instructions on my blog . And I will continue to evaluate Ruffle. It's actually working quite well (not sure what I did wrong the first time)...

Pyoro

This is a shoutout to asdasdg, who appears to have overcome the highscore table in my other game, Pyoro! I have no idea when this happened - I only just noticed today! Haha!

Re: Flash End-of-Life; a sad time for Zeta Flow and flash games

Good to know, Zeke. I tried it out myself on my kongregate game . Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, I got as far as the screen below (see attached) but nothing happens when I press Play. I discovered that Supernova is built on Adobe AIR, and Adobe has pulled the plug on that too. I also tried ou...

Re: Flash End-of-Life; a sad time for Zeta Flow and flash games

Today (Jan 12, the official end date for Flash) I was met with a new error screen (see attached screenshot below). The people over at Newgrounds are trying to workaround the issue (https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1462656). I was able to play Zeta Flow by following the instructions here: https:/...

Are you going to do a handful of levels? If so, you can help me by recording which ones you do here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Re: More Playable Ships

Great idea 222! Though, as asdasdg mentioned, I'm unlikely to update the game any time soon and the demise of Flash just makes things worse. However, I'll do my best to keep this game alive as long as I can! See more info at this forum post.

Cheers,

Re: Flash End-of-Life; a sad time for Zeta Flow and flash games

Thanks for letting me know about Flashpoint, I'd never heard of it. Their solution works fine for simple games, but it's no use to me. Their main advantage is bypassing site-locks and allowing play completely offline. Let's be completely honest: this is basically just pirating flash games. Now, I'm ...

Flash End-of-Life; a sad time for Zeta Flow and flash games

It is with great sadness that I have to write that Flash is dead by the end of this year. Adobe is pulling the plug. I don't know whether it will be possible to bypass it in order to still play Zeta Flow, but I'll look into it. Adobe's announcement is here: https://www.adobe.com/ca/products/flashpla...

Re: What will happen

I suppose this news is what you're talking about:

"It'll be possible to use Flash in 2019 if end users assent to it, but that option will end in December 2020."

And it sounds like all browsers are headed this way.

This makes me very sad!
