I wish I could go. I have a friend who lives near Vancouver but I don't know if she's attending.

Re: Beginner's Tutorial (Making the core move)
Mouzi is right raz3124. There is no sense in rewriting information that is already here, and in more depth.
If you haven't taken the time to go through all of the forum topics, you might find some useful information to help with your level design.

Re: Bug Question
Thanks Mouzi. I hope too many designers don't take this to heart and use it. I suppose my workaround for this should have been to change to manual fire but I'm too lazy for that. :-) It's is really annoying to have your firepower getting diverted by what is effectively a ghost though. The other thou...

Bug Question
I was just playing this level: Fudo There are two spreaders along the sides and one gun on the core that can't be destroyed. They stop firing at you after you initially kill them but they never go away, and they draw your fire away if you are close enough to them. So they are more or less just a nus...

Re: Tip: Video Capture
Thanks for the tip MD. I'll check it out and post a comment later. I checked it out but was not able to find any user reviews. All the reviews I read were just copied from the software designers website. Be aware that the program may be free for 21 days and then require registering. I am interested ...

Re: Worth A Replay
A few new additions. These are all older levels that may not get viewed that often but are challenging and well designed levels: Swinging shields by Swartzer Kankra by Craw Redsatori - Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind by Redsatori - This was a great take-off on Space Invaders. they are looking on y...

Re: Old stuff: Sprite parts
I'm basically seeing the same thing that Swartzer is. I'm guessing the would be some "quality" differences due to the speed of the computer, quality of video card and quality and type of moniter. Which reminds me of an old post by Mouzi about color display. I'm reasonably sure that a CRT m...

Re: invaled users?
I just checked my profile and I can view it okay. I don't have any alternate profiles, so I can't speak to that issue.
I've often wondered why people go through the trouble to make multiple profiles. Is there some benefit to that?
Good luck with your problem.

Picking The Right Category
When a new level is created, the designer has the option to select a category (Action, Puzzle, Art, Series, Tutorial). Not selecting a category will make it default to "none". When properly used, categories can be useful for both designers and players to help them sort and find specific ty...

Re: Advent calendar 'n stuff
Hey Mouzi - I went to your Advent calendar and after a few tries I got the first one. It opened the window where it says "Type your name and key combination". Are you asking for a User Name and Password? BTW - I haven't noticed any problems with the RSS feed. I think it has just been relat...

Re: Why am I constantly being logged out?
I had a similar issue and discovered that if I refresh the page immediately after I log in, I stay logged in as long as I'm at Zeta Flow.
For the record, I use the latest version of IE on a Dell XPS machine running XP with all the service packs and updates.

Re: Amount of Lives
There are things that I like about Mouzi's idea too. I was waiting for MD to weigh in on this because ultimately it comes down to how feasible it is for him to impliment.
