Re: New Website Features
OK, now somehow I'm not seeing the level rating bar at all on the level end screen; just a blank area where the stars and rating message should be. Edit: I'm also not showing up in the top 10 for any levels I've played in today, and those levels aren't showing up in my played/won list. Edit: looks l...

We'll soon see. I can't beat every level, but I've beaten most of them.

Re: New Website Features
Sweet, I see the high score chart is up on the level profiles. I like that it's split between best time and best lives.
It looks like it only shows an individual user's top score for that level, which I think is good because then the charts can't be filled by one user.

Re: New Website Features
D'oH! You're right, it was in there. I think I must've been looking at the played/won listings in my profile instead; comments still don't show up there, though I just noticed they do in the list of created levels. It's very cool to be able to sort by number of comments, so thanks for that too; coul...

Re: New Website Features
The ratings don't seem to be working in Firefox since the last round of changes. However, the symptoms are different from last time this happened. When I click to rate a level, it says my rating has been submitted, but then no matter what rating I gave it, or what the prior average was, it says the ...

Re: Level critiques
Apparently the beta doesn't work very well in IE yet, and of course somebody who never reads the forums wouldn't have heard about it in the first place. So I'm not too surprised that very few people comment. I bet that will change quickly whenever MD finishes the beta and upgrades the main site.

Re: battle series
Here's a screenshot of how far I got on endgamep10. Either I'm missing something, or you can't get any farther; the trigger I'm aiming at looks exposed, but really that forcefield is too thick so I can't hit it. Forcefields are tricky that way when you make them thicker than normal. I spent some tim...

Re: New Website Features
What, because hardly anybody posts comments?I enjoy the comments.
Its like a second forums.
Well, OK, maybe I just haven't been looking. But I really like the comment system!
MD, could the number of comments for each level show up in the main gallery listing?

Re: Level critiques
Since comments are now available in the beta version of the game, I'll be putting my critiques there instead of here from now on.
Check out the New Website Features topic in the News section for more. I've been playing nothing but the beta for weeks now, and it's really solid.

Re: battle series
Check again. :) They've now been beaten once each. Battleforearthp2 is buried back in March, so I hadn't even seen it until you reminded me. I played p3 once before and thought there were too many rockets for it to be possible in the tiny amount of maneuvering room at the top, but when I went back I...

Re: New Website Features
Two minor feature requests: can a level's profile page show the type of level (action, puzzle, art, etc) and can the play page for a level include a link back to its profile page?
I hear you about IE, though! I'm wondering what new oddities version eight will bring us, too.

Now that comments are almost ready, maybe we can get more people here in the forum by talking about it in comments.

Re: battle series
Wait, what? You couldn't do even the first step with 20 lives and your answer is to reduce the number of lives to 15? I don't understand that logic. What am I missing?

Re: shield bug
Yeah, this is pretty well-known. You can even go through solid stuff sometimes, and if the boss pushes you against the wall when your starter shield is up, you can go through anything, even a forcefield, as long as it's not too thick. This is just something you have to think about when designing lev...
