Ya know how if a ship is disarmed it can fire twin rapids?
Well,why does the ship need to be disarmed?
Why can't there be a weapon sorta like this?
Admit it - you like the idea.

Actually, its possible to have the core constantly firing its twin weapon by selecting it in the core menu and not the drop down bar. In fact, double and 4 way 2 shot stack! I do want a 4 way 2 shot weapon though...
