Level Design Contest!

Alright, it's time for a level design contest! There's a special rule though, and that is that it must relate to the theme: The theme is: TIME How you interpret it is up to you, though I'd expect that it might have something to do with the recent update Starting: Immediately Ending: July 4th, at mid...

Update - More triggers, autosave

AI Command changes: Previously a death trigger looked like this: makeTrigger, death, someAction, SOURCE_PART#, TARGET_PART#, OR_OTHER_ACTION_RELATED_OPTIONS However, I realised that I messed up the syntax. There's an order which makes much more sense. Consider this: You're using this command to rota...

Opera can go fullscreen with F11 too. Though it's a bit tricky to get out of because when flash is in focus it captures all the keyboard events...including the button to escape fullscreen...have to use the mouse to click the background behind the flash movie then hit escape or F11.

Now that's what I call a detailed report :) So I did exactly what you said, and sure enough, it froze. And I can tell you why, when you create the switch it automatically selects the closest part to be its parent (that is, the switch connects to the nearest part, I call that part the "parent&qu...

This shouldn't be happening. Can you give me more information? Tell me exactly what you're doing, and post a copy of what it says in the Text edit and AI windows, and you could post a screenshot if you think it's relevant.

Good idea. It actually doesn't take much room to store, all of the levels created so far have only amounted to 9 MB. And I wouldn't have to save it on the server; the username and password are stored in Flash's version of a cookie on the local computer, so I could periodically save the level there. ...

We don't have any famed designers yet :P plus when we do I think I'll make a special page of some sort for them.

I just finished reorganizing the forums...don't know if I like the categories I put on, it seemed simpler before. It's probably better in the long run though.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm thinking of dividing up the forum sections a bit better, here's my plan so far, am I missing anything? News Announcements will appear here. Suggestions and Feedback Bug reports, suggestions, questions, etc that relate to the development of Zeta Flow and this website. ...

Works now. The solution was easier than I expected, just had to state AllowScriptAccess="Always" in the HTML. It was a Flash Player 9 feature to prevent untrusted SWFs from changing the URL within an HMTL page: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=50c1cf38&sliceId=...

Found it! the "Exit to main menu" button in the pause menu and the "Exit" button in the editor both do not work. The weird thing is that it works fine when I test it locally on my computer but it doesn't work on the server. It's probably some new security 'feature'...i'll try to ...

I just tried it, and the game is completely unplayable in fullscreen, as it ignores mouse coordinates and clicking as well as keyboard input. Have you ever seen a game successfully use fullscreen mode? However, you could download the standalone flash player and load up the url from there. Then just ...
