Other than the inherent visual appeal of the game itself, I see no artistic value to this level, other than the interesting effect of that ball of energy. If that feature were an aspect of the level that could be avoided with strategy and timing, I would appreciate it more. What I see is a level which fails to inspire a player to try again. Instead, it's a "suicide level" whose only appeal is whether or not a player has the patience and dedication to plod through it.
Just because you may think it is "garbage" doesn't mean it doesn't have artistic value. I also find this level rather interesting (albeit a little frustrating). Attacking the lower right corner to destroy the energy turret thing takes most of my lives and then dodging all those bullets and the core gun while trying to stay alive with my last 2 lives or so does set a challenge.
Great. So it's an unavoidable ball of energy on top of a bunch of stuff you can't shoot, while being barraged with bullets and missiles. SO much fun. Why do you guys praise garbage like this?
